"Chez Fred is a wonderful restaurant for a traditional French meal. The staff were charming and very friendly. The food was quite good and plates are substantial (so try to save room for the amazing cheese selection)! The restaurant’s interior is nostalgic and comfortable. Looking forward to another visit soon!"

"Visited for for a few days in France and wanted to try something where the locals eat. The service was wonderful and in particular one of the staff had an English menu just to support our order. I was very surprised as I have been in France a week and often just guess based on my very poor interpretation. I was not shunned or embarrassed for lack of fictional France rather they were happy to see us enjoying our meal. In addition they supported us with choices of drinks and even offered we try before which was just so lovely. The recommended white wine was delicious and beer too. We ordered two entrees and a main as we had already eaten late in the day. Therefore I can not give 5 stars for the food as we only sampled a few. However it was all delicious!"

"I have eaten at this restaurant several times, always a great meal! I had the filet w pepper sauce and it was delicious. The cheese board is extensive, our server was a big help in selecting different types of food. The service was very efficient and courteous. Cozy quiet, not tourist loud. I recommend it."
